Bookshop and office refurbishment project:
Law booksellers, Carey St, Lincoln’s Inn, London
Law booksellers Wildy & Sons is located between the
famous 17th century archways at Lincoln’s Inn in
London, adjacent to New Square, home to barristers’
chambers and law practices.
The 175-year old bookshop was undergoing its first major
refurbishment. Our task was to manufacture and install
all the furniture and fittings, including bookcases, desking
and a number of raised podium areas, and create illuminated
window displays for the previously unused windows.
The design and finish of all the items had to be in strict
compliance with listed buildings guidelines to reflect
the magnificent architectural heritage of the location.
The main finishes were American Cherry veneers and
solid wood, with desktops in smart burgundy linoleum.
